The Miami Semicha Program completed its 16th year with a beautiful ceremony.

Rabbi Yitzchok Yehuda Yeruslavsky specially came from Israel to test the bochurim once again this year and to attend the Chag Hasemicha. Rabbi Yeruslavsky expressed how impressed he was with the accomplishments of the Miami Semicha Program and the bochurim.

Rabbi Yehuda Leib Schapiro, the rov of the community addressed the new rabbonim and the audience and encouraged and blessed the bochurim in their future life.

Rabbi Chaim Zvi Groner, visiting from Australia, gave the keynote address and shared some warm memories of his father OBM and the lessons one can learn from the rabbonim of yore.

Rabbi Yisroel Frankforter, the director and Rosh Yeshiva of the Miami Semicha Program encouraged the bochurim to continue on their learning of Torah in general and Halocha and Chassidus in particular. Stressing that as musmochim, the bochurim ad one more link to the chain of tradition going back all the way to Moshe Rabbeinu as well as the Moshe of generation.

The bochurim were also tested by Rabbi Dovid Schochet head of the Toronto Beis Din.
