A vehicle struck pedestrians outside a mosque in north London early Monday morning, causing several casualties, police said.

One person has been arrested. The London Ambulance Service says the injured are being taken to hospitals. Eyewitnesses reported seeing police give emergency medical treatment to at least one of the injured.

The Muslim Council tweeted that worshippers were struck by a van as they were leaving prayers at the Finsbury Park mosque. It said its prayers are with the victims.

The Finsbury Park mosque was associated with extremist ideology for several years after the 9/11 attacks in the United States but was shut down and reorganized. It has not been associated with radical views for more than a decade.

London police have declared the crash a major incident and closed the area to normal traffic.

People had been attending prayers in the area as part of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Metropolitan Police said officers were called to the scene on Seven Sisters Road at 12:20 a.m. Monday. Many police cars and ambulances responded to the incident.

No other details were immediately available.

#3 nailed it!
That is exactly the problem, not just with London but with England in general, and indeed with all of Western Europe.
The non Islamic antisemites in England and Europe, see the jihadist destruction and repeated attacks and still blame the Jews for all the problems in the world.
There is a new report on Breaking Israel News, that Israel is being accused by the U.N. (U.nited N.azis) of being the cause of Jihadists in the West Bank and Gaza, beating their wives.
It's not because the Koran tells them to and not because of encouragement from their imams, nooooo not at all.
it's the fault of the Jews, they say.
I'm not even sure by what twisted phony 'logic' they came up with that propaganda, but according to the report, that is what they are saying.

you have to understand british logic.very simply they are like our democrats, senseless, ohn seichal.look who they voted for in their election, the biggest anti semite in europe .he won extra seats because he promised more money for the working class,
so they voted for him.
mark my words you can expect much more terrorism in england because this anti semite just loves the arabs

Horrified and sickened by the majority of the comments on here. Are there extremists? Yes. Is it a problem that must be dealt with? Absolutely. Does this allow you to box over ONE BILLION people?! NO. Terrorism has no religion. This attack was most likely not done by Muslims. It was on a mosque....also, I hate to bring this up but even we have terrorists among us Jews. (cough Kahane Cough.) You want these people to stop hating us? Then stop hating them. Hate the terrorists not the entire group. Some of you really need humanity in your hearts and I'm sorry you weren't raised to not judge people. Pathetic, sickening, and depressing.

That's the sick liberal "logic" that is getting people killed. It's the same exact logic the reform movement used ... We need to stop being different so the goyim will love us.
Muslim love death. We value life. The problem is you liberals keep making excuses for them while they want you dead.

Credit where credit is due!
Amazing! When it happens to Moslems they're shocked and horrified and complain about terrorism (refer to reports on the BBC, London newspapers etc.) but when Moslems do it to others their leaders either say nothing or find every excuse to distance themselves! Like all bullies its not fun when it happens to them. Take some credit fellows! These are all techniques you developed!

fed up
well said#11.its so true.and not only that a lot of frummy orgs.
are saying what a shame that it happened, PUBLICLY
(6/19/2017 9:48:23 AM)
Are you serious?
Why are people talking about Arabs and Muslim terrorists when it was Muslims who were murdered! This was an attack against Muslims, not an attack done by a Muslim. All people of faith should be terrified at increasing attacks on places of worship.

Miserable Europe Pays for Its Treacherous Treatment of the Jews

Miserable Europe Pays for Its Treacherous Treatment of the Jews
The following is a copy of an article published in a Spanish newspaper. It doesn't take much imagination to extrapolate the message to the rest of Europe and possibly to the rest of the world:

Miserable Europe Pays for Its Treacherous Treatment of the Jews

I walked down the streets in Barcelona and suddenly discovered a terrible truth: Europe is dying because of its misdeeds toward the Jews. We persecuted and banished a group of people who represented culture, thought, creativity, talent. We destroyed the Chosen People, truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who made great contributions to the world, and thus changed the world. Instead, we replaced them with 20 million Muslims.

The contribution of today’s Jewish people is felt in all areas of life — science, art, international trade, and above all, as the conscience of the world.

Look at any donors’ board at any symphony, art museum, theater, art gallery, school, and science center, and you will see the vast majority are Jewish surnames. These are the people we killed.

How many would have grown up to be gifted musicians, doctors, artists, philanthropists?
Cured cancer? Brought world peace?

And under the pretense of tolerance and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the diseases of racism and bigotry, we opened our gates to 20 million Muslims who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride.

They have blown up our trains and turned our beautiful cities into the third-world, drowning in filth and crime. Living in the apartments they receive free from the government, they plan the murder and destruction of their naive hosts.

And thus, to our misery, we have exchanged high culture for fanatical hatred; creative skill for destructive skill; intelligence for backwardness and superstition.

We have exchanged the pursuit of peace of the Jews of Europe and their talent for a better future for their children and all of humanity, their determined clinging to life because life is holy, for those who pursue death, for people consumed by the desire for death for themselves and others, for our children and theirs.

What a terrible mistake was made by miserable Europe.
It’s the price we are now all bearing for forsaking God’s children.

To all of you attacking #8
If you really think that over 1 billion people are out to get you....you really need psychological help. And if they were all out to get us, guess what? We'd all be dead. That hasn't happened.....put the pieces together. You're all willing to judge an entire group.....that's what the Nazis did to us, the Romani, etc. I'm not saying we should let in whomever wants to come, but I am saying that you shouldn't judge a person, or whole group on their potential future actions. That's ridiculous. Well said to #8, and I'm sorry everyone here is so judgemental and has so much hate in their hearts.

To number 8
Kahane a terrorist?! Did he ever kill an inoccent person who was just shopping in the grocery store?! Comparing the killing of innocents to tough words is not only stupid, it's dangerous! Muslim extremists kill innocent people who say things that they don't like and justify it by saying that they're terrorists and deserve it. (The murder of Kahane, Charlie hebdo and all the threats against those just using they're right of free speech) Secondly, Kahane's words were a reaction to the terror of the PLO (which is supported by most muslims of that region today, including the so called PA themselves. Have you seen anybody condemning the PA for this?!) There is a huge difference between attacking inoccents and attacking terrorists (and they're supporters). Do not equate the victim to the terrorist!
(6/19/2017 11:21:34 AM)
Intellectual honesty
If today someone was killed by a neo nazi and his friend blew up a nazi rally in revenge, that's fair game. Did all those that died deserve it? Probably not, they didn't kill. Was it right? No,
but it's hard to be sympathetic. Same here the ramming was in front of an extremist mosque in revenge for a ramming and killing of people at the bar. Hard to sympathize, that's why most comments aren't. However if you would be intellectually honest you would say that this attack is wrong... However the most stupid of them all are the liberals who blame terrorist attacks on the words we say and at the same time call an attack on an extremist mosque horrible. So for all those progressive liberal thinkers I have this question: did you catch this hypocrisy (this liberal way of thought) or were you born with it?
(6/19/2017 1:10:15 PM)
Muslim revenge
Unfortunately, even the so called peaceful Muslims have hatred!. You could never know what goes on in those mosques🕌

Speaking as a Brit
Many Muslim leaders spoke out against terrorism and the attacks, they spoke at vigils for the Manchester bombing and all the London attacks, and many Muslim groups actively spoke out against it in rallies, so saying that only when they are attacked they speak out, is completely untrue.
England is not a hotbed for extremism like other places in Europe like France, we have a small group of them who have made themselves known but that does not represent the entire Muslim community here, I have very friendly Muslim neighbours and have met many during Interfaith events who are not extremist in the slightest.
It is disgraceful to say that the people who were hurt and the one person who was killed from this attack deserved it, the mosque was once full of extremists but had since closed, reopened and tried to promote interfaith. Saying that a group of people deserve to die because of their religion is wrong and no better than anyone who has hurt the Jews in the past. You can't judge an entire religion by the extremists, judge it by the ones who spoke out against it, who stopped people from attacking the man who crashed into them, judge it by the group who gave out bottles of water at the Manchester vigil.
This was an attack by a regular father of four who saw a group of Muslims helping someone who had collapsed while going to pray and decided to try and kill them, it was a hate crime and who's to say it doesn't happen to other communities as well?
(6/20/2017 2:35:06 AM)
What's wrong with London? Here's what's wrong...
Unlike Trump, who signed a travel ban on certain countries (who "happen" to be highly populated with Muslims), Europe has been admitting Muslim "refugees" from different countries including those which Trump has banned, and those "refugees" come to England to claim benefits and expand their extremist views.
So all those living in Trump's America, support him and his ban.
And although this attack was not carried out by a Muslim, that doesn't change the fact that most terrorists happen to be Muslim. There is no such thing as coincidence.
